A linocut print on A4 size paper, based on the following narrative called Auntie Con’s.
The dining room was square and high-ceilinged. Opposite the doorway in the small kitchen Auntie Con sat in an armchair, occasionally stoking the roaring coal fire. The mantelpiece was decorated with the keepsakes of previous generations – bowls, plates and horse brasses. In the centre stood a stately wooden clock. Con’s pet budgerigar enlivened the scene, flitting from its open cage around the room and alighting on the curtain rail, where it peered out at its wild cousins in the garden.
Lino print run of 7, each print individually numbered. Printed in a warm red ink onto a light cream paper, this print will bring a a cosy feeling into any room!
